Welcome to CRP’s blog! For the past 40 years, we’ve made our home in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. Just like our neighborhood, we’ve changed dramatically in that time, increasing in size and content. Can you believe our 1983 catalog was twelve pages long? (Check it out on Instagram.) From music and entertainment to history and memoir to nonfiction series for kids, our titles appeal to a wide, varied audience. We’re proud to publish both established and first-time authors and excited to have this new space to go behind the scenes and offer more background on our books, authors, and the subjects they tackle.

Which means…we’ll be posting about our books and authors, of course. We’ll also post about what our staff and authors are reading for fun—whether it’s an article or book or…a cryptozoological map of the United States. Cover design analysis, music playlists, and guest posts are also fair game.

This is a place where we will highlight successes, interesting backstories, great reviews, and special offers; a place where you can find out more about us and we can find out what draws you in.
