“I am currently reading A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers.” —Olivia Aguilar, publicist
My college roommate recently sent over Anything Is Possible by Elizabeth Strout as a bookish way to ask me to be her maid of honor. It’s full of deeply moving vignettes of characters from a small town in rural Illinois. Seeing as it’s the companion piece to Strout’s My Name Is Lucy Barton, that book has quickly jumped to the top of my TBR pile. —Ashley Alfirevic, publicity associate
While at BookExpo I was lucky enough to grab a galley for Daniel Jose Older’s Shadowhouse Fall, the sequel to Shadowshaper, and I’m really looking forward to what’s next for Sierra and her fellow Shadowshapers. Shadowshaper was one of my favorite books of last year (Most enjoyable on my “best of” list) and I’m very excited to return to this world. —Mary Kravenas, marketing manager
My roommate gifted me a Book-of-the-Month subscription for my birthday so I just finished reading this month’s selection: A Million Junes by Emily Henry. Next up on my reading list is The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. I’m only a few pages in and I can tell I’m going to love it. —Emily Lewis, editorial and marketing assistant
I recently read Alan Bennett’s novella The Clothes They Stood Up In, and I’m listening to Elena Ferrante’s Those Who Leave and Those Who Stay. —Yuval Taylor, senior editor
I’ve been taking my time savoring my way through Ta-Nehisi Coates’s Between the World and Me. To be honest, my library loan ran out before I could finish, so I had to check it back out to keep reading! In between, to enjoy something escapist, I’ve been reading the enormously delightful http://gallusrostromegalus.tumblr.com. Please check the #family lore tag; it will not disappoint! —Michelle Williams, managing editor
