Play Ball! Baseball History for Kids (and adults, too)

By

Despite the wintry temperatures here in Chicago, Opening Day makes spring coming seem like a reality (the jury’s still out on summer, though). To welcome baseball season, we’re excited to share Baseball History for Kids: America at Bat from 1900 to Today, by Richard Panchyk—the first sports title in our For Kids series. School Library Journal says it “should be a hit among sports-minded readers” and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel says “Panchyk laces the bright, readable book with enough offbeat content that grown-up fans will learn a thing or two, too.”  [Get it now $17]  [Request a review copy]

For grown-up fans who want to learn even more, check out our baseball titles below.
