Fall is officially upon us, and with it our October books. We’re excited to have two biographies of Chicagoans—cult author Nelson Algren and musician Curtis Mayfield—coming out this month, along with two different looks at women heroes during World War II; an investigation into hot sauce—everyone’s favorite condiment; a novel featuring the Wright Brothers’ sister, Katharine; and books for burgeoning hair stylists, wizards and backyard beverage bottle bazooka builders. (Whew!) Click on each cover for a Q&A with the author or a downloadable project.
Click on each cover for a project. Make a beverage bottle bazooka, perfect Cara Delevingne’s braid from 2013’s punk-themed Met Ball, or sculpt a magic wand.
Our October titles are available wherever books and e-books are sold.
